Fascinating to see such variety in schools’ community work. Philosophy with year 6 - inspirational.

Every part of the school we visited and every student we met exemplified the school mission INSPIRE, SERVE, ACHIEVE.

Very successful school within a very mixed community , but one in which the school plays a very full part .
Demographics have allowed much smaller class sizes but at a cost to the infrastructure - revenue under pressure .
Year 7 intake mixed but value added is still excellent .
Lovely atmosphere and again we were fortunate in having some more senior guides , great welcome !

Grandparent Day! What a great idea and an excellent way to engage the wider family. Overhead one grandmother comment how she was really excited about watching the Wizard of Oz as a child, but equally as excited about helping her grandson making a poster on the computer …. Nice

My grandma lives in a small village about 100 miles from the Nepal border …. Might take a while to get across for a day

It is always a privilege to see other schools. The tour so far has been inspirational. Looking forward to the next schools.

Just been on tour at Davison and think the award is well deserved. For a school to engage with the community to support learning, raise substantial funds and care for both the young and elderly is excellent in terms of raising school pride and giving young people a varied schooling experience. The performance around ‘phobias’ was very professional and dealt with the matter in a creative and animated way - well done!

A warm welcome awaited us as we arrived on a damp morning at this coastal town .
A most well organised visit giving us an opportunity to see the variety of year groups 8/9/10/11 work - performing arts excel and we enjoyed dance and music presentations -
Our year 11 guides were very good and gave us an excellent snapshot of tne college
Why this school cannot be allowed to have a 6th form is a concern but reflects the local education policy ?
